Hear Jake Clayton on the New Chris Young Album

Jake Clayton takes a BIG leap forward with studio credits again this year by recording tracks for "Losing Sleep", the latest release from RCA Records Recording Artist, Chris Young! You can hear Jake playing Viola, Violin, & Cello on track #5, "Where I Go When I Drink". To take it a step further, the tracks for the song were recorded in Jake's own studio, JD's Joint, by his co-producer, studio partner, and band member, Rob Daniels. Young is an award winning Country Artist that has had multiple #1s on Country Radio, and most recently was invited to become a member of The Grand Ole Opry.

Jake Interviewed by New Zealand Radio Station

Jake recently did an interview with DJ Grant from Galaxy107fm in New Zealand. Not only was the interview broadcast on the station but it was also recorded by Skype and posted to YouTube. DJ Grant played multiple songs and also mentioned that Jake's cover of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is one of their most requested songs! Jake Opens Show for Frankie Ballard

On Oct 4th, Jake Clayton opened the show for Warner Bros. Records Recording Artist, Frankie Ballard at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO. Ballard is known for his 3 #1 Country Radio hits, "Helluva Life", "Sunshine & Whiskey", & "Young & Crazy". Jake's great response from the crowd proves he belongs on the same stages as modern Country hit-makers. This year, Jake has also opened shows for Granger Smith, Kane Brown, Colt Ford, The Lacs, & David Allan Coe.
